Today’s numbers from the Government of Ontario demonstrate the shocking dishonesty by the media, Federalists, and Canadian politicians regarding false claims that the unvaccinated are filling up the hospitals and ICUs. It’s simply not true.
For individuals hospitalized but not ICU:
In total, 1591 individuals are hospitalized but do not require an ICU. 24% of the total hospitalizations are among the unvaccinated. 76% are vaccinated.
Of individuals hospitalized and requiring ICU:
In total, 278 individuals are hospitalized and require an ICU. This means only 44% of the ICU are unvaccinated, and 56% are vaccinated.
There are 412 in ICU with 226 on ventilators.
Based on 3000 total ICU beds, 17% are being used for Covid, 7.48% by the unvaccinated and 9.52% by the vaccinated.
Based on 1800 ventilators, 12.55% are in use for covid treatment.
