People have begun to connect the dots. Sobeys and Walmart has quietly been adding automatic gates to its locations throughout Canada over the last month which will soon be used for QR scans, limiting access to only those vaccinated.
Sobeys is yet to begin requiring the vaccination pass but looks to start in the coming weeks. The company that owns Sobeys also owns Safeway and Freshco. Walmart appears to be headed in the same direction.
Both Sobeys and Walmart have been installing automatic gate to its locations in other provinces like Halifax and Ontario. Expect them to continue this trend with most locations having automatic gates throughout Canada.
Any grocery store that applies these measures should be boycotted full stop. With no exemptions. We must vote with our wallets as these measures are brought to more provinces.
